The NN marking
The NN marking is not very common, even in Norway, and it has no verified informations about producer or country. Some collectors believe it to be from Namsos, Norway, and that the marking means Nye Namsos (New Namsos), referring to a factory that was shut down after being destroyed in a fire, and later reopened.However, collectors from the Namsos area have not heard about this, so we must conclude it's a marking that needs some investigation.I have seen the NN marking only twice, and there are different opinions of what this marking means. If you know anything about this marking and want to share it with other collectors, the please let me know.
