Eidfjord

by Robert Burridge
(Suffolk, England)

On my third visit to Norway, I went by ship to Eidfjord and then by coach to Hardangervidda. Each of my visits has left me with an impression of an enchanted land, clean and welcoming. One of the last unspoilt places in Europe. As I left Eid, I wondered how anyone could bear to leave it who lives there. I can't wait to return. If this is rather brief, it is because I find it very hard to explain my strong feelings for this wonderful country- I urge you to see it for yourself.
