Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mette-Marit, was born Mette-Marit Tjessem Høiby on 19. August 1973.

She married Crown Prince Haakon in Oslo Cathedral on 25. August 2001.

Children:

Mr Marius Borg Høiby, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus.
