The WD marking

The WD marking, or W.D. as it really says, has its place in any glass float collection, even if it is not the most sophisticated one. Even so, it is part of the glass fishing float history, and even if I still do not have any confirmed information about where it was produced, it is not unknown in the old, norwegian boathouses.

During my travels to buy old floats, I have come across this marking from time to time.

If you have further information that you want to share, then please let me know.
